Great horseback ride for a couple or novices!nThe trip was a surprise for my wife and couldn’t have been better.nThe guide, Stu, was very patient and did well to pair horses to riders’ skill. He made sure everyone was having a good time and comfortable with what they were doing. My wife’s horse was Karma, which was so fitting. Great horse for her. For me, I had Hot Rod, and what a great horse. Of course he knew the trail and what he was supposed to do, but he was very responsive and quick to follow light commands on the reins.nI appreciate the good organization and timeliness of Schooner Stables. Being able to make reservations was great, and the small group allowed for everyone to remain active and get any attention they might have needed. Fun ride with several trots along the way.nI look forward to making another trip soon and bringing the kids to Schooner Stables.

Had such a fun time at Schooner Valley Stables. The staff were very helpful and made sure that everyone was comfortable on their steed before setting off. Very scenic route through Yellowwood. All of the horses were super calm and really well trained - my wife and I had the pleasure of riding Karma and Spice. Will definitely go again and can't recommend Schooner Valley enough!

The guides took time to give the best detailed instructions and educational information about horses and horseback riding we have ever experienced. Friendly, knowledgeable guides and volunteers; it is easy to see they genuinely care about each horse and love what they do. Gentle horses and pretty scenery with woods, meadows, and a creek. Plus, it is fun to see their other pets and chickens. Well worth the price. We look forward to going back!

We had a wonderful experience at Schooner Valley Stables. Our guides Vickie and Jen were very experienced and very informative. We walked and trotted our horses. The scenery was beautiful I saw a deer and squirrels and it was just gorgeous. I also saw a hummingbird. Perfect place.

Have been here two times, had a blast both times and will certainly come again. Splash is an amazing horse to ride and will always pick her! Stu and Vicky are also amazing guides and thoroughly explain everything to you.nnSuch a great place to visit!
