Dominican College does in fact challenge the mind and spirit. The programs available at the college are indeed challenging but, rewarding with hard work, effort and determination. They offer a wide range of community oriented services that provides aid in the community and around the world from El Salvador to France. The colleges athletics program is well established and their Athletic Training staff are superb. Dominican College has definitely succeeded with providing students college wide services. For example, career services, onsite counseling, academic success are extraordinary services that the college provides to students. Knowledge, friends, networking and lifelong skills are often fruits that may be obtained from these initiatives. Overall, this college continues to meet the student needs. Proceed with their vision to make the campus community oriented, safe and a great experience for students and families. Especially, with the implementation of the new turf field being constructed and the Hennessy center being renovated. This college is going on the right path.

Small campus with absolutely nothing to do overpriced for what you receive graduation rate is so low because everyone transfers after they’ve been here.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! I’ve tried hard to stick it out, but I wish a former student would have told me the negative aspects of being in this school. The positive: The curriculum in this institution challenges you. The negative: Most of the percentage that attends this school does not graduate and is not accepted into the program they desire. While living on campus I learned there are hazardous fumes outside the main campus that burns plastic...and the news channel even came in to interview students on this. These fumes cause cancer! Don’t even get me started with residence life. This college is not like the advertisements and I wish I knew all the cons before I made my decision to come here. If you’re not aware, a student committed suicide from a bad situation handled by the school. There’s a lot of bad history and I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Save your time and money.

Awesome school, amazing opportunities. Proud mom of a son that attends. Class of 2018. Criminal Justice Major. Small caring school, where everyone know each other and you feel comfortable that your child is safe and learning.

I'm glad I was able to get a chance to have so many opportunities with joining clubs and doing community service. I was able to get involved with Habitat for Humanity where I was president, I was able to start the Fitness and Health Club which the school provided me with a budget to run activities, and since I graduated as a biology major the school had internships that paid me $15/hr to work in a lab at Pfizer which is a leading pharmaceutical company.nAs far as my education, I conducted cancer stem cell based research that had allowed me to be able to get accepted at Harvard University for graduate school with a focus on nanotechnology.nIf you work hard and go to the professors for help on any material you don't understand then you'll be able to incredibly well. Since the classes consist of about 30 people each, the professor could provide direct assistance and actually build a relationship.
