Bamboo House

I visit this great spot from time to time! This is my favorite spot to pass a nice evening. I visit this place routinely. The food is of high quality, the workers are courteous and the rates are good. I enjoy being in this spot for a good lunch.

Serving the community for 33 years, Sherry and Aldo deliver tasty dishes and remain at the top of the class! Whatever your preference, there is a dish to delight. Mom's dumplings, Soups, Lo Mein, pork, chicken and beef specials are some of my favorites...and just a few of the many offered. Each dish is presented wonderfully and the servings contain enough for at least a second meal. I haven't been disappointed, and I'm sure you won't be either!nnTo be in business for 33 years, you have to have it together and always be on your game. Sherry and Aldo have given the community a wonderful gift. Please give Bamboo House a try!

Bamboo House is a great place to get tasty food with huge quantities that will last you at least a couple of meals. And Sherry is what you'd expect of someone who runs a Ridgewood institution. During the height of the pandemic, she was handing out masks to her customers that her relatives had shipped over to her at a time when most of us couldn't get masks regularly. She's also been very helpful in figuring out dishes for my daughter who has several food allergies. I highly recommend their Hot and Sour soup, their egg rolls and shrimp rolls, Mom's dumplings, the pork with eggplant, and the shredded pork, but most of all I recommend that you ask what their specials are for the day. I've been pleasantly surprised by many of the specials, and it is how I got to taste Sherry's Crispy Curry Dumplings which are simply amazing and should become a part of the regular menu.

There isn’t anything that I haven’t liked/loved!!!nAND their servings are so generous, most times I have a meal for two days. Moms dumplings, anglehair noodles, spring rolls and Lo Mein are just a few of my favorites but try anything and I guarantee you’ll love it.nnThere’s a reason they’ve been in business for 33 years!!!! GREAT FOOD!!!!!
