Empanada Mami's

Went there for the first time, saw their website on a Google search. Figured I give them a try. Fantastic! I went there on a Thursday so I got the special for that day! I decided to get the Large pack, got 4 empanada's and sauce and a fruit punch drink. I brought them home and dug in. They are bigger than your typical empanada. I can only eat two out of the four. They are packed! Looking forward to toss the two leftover ones in the air fryer for lunch the next day. Empanada Mami's know what they are doing, that's a good thing. I'll be a returning customer for sure.nnIt's Garfield, there are a lot of little hidden gems just like this place spread around the city. Get out there and explore, find some of these wonderful places.

Wow wow wow very very good yea is a lilttle pricey like 75 cent more but it is well worth it great tast feels homemade

The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant was. Then both of the lovely ladies greeted me while one took my order. I ordered 2 sofrito chicken and cheese, 1 sofrito beef and cheese accompanied with plantain, Chimichurri, and a drink. My order was prepared fresh and it was delicious!!! My ONLY complaint would be that I strongly disliked the Chimichurri sauce it tasted more like pickled parsley. Besides that the empanadas were so good, the price was right, the amount of food was great, and customer service was awesome! I would strongly recommend.

A wide variety of flavors in empanadas - from Latin classics like beef and three cheese to dessert empanadas that you'd be pressed to find elsewhere like summer berries and peach cobbler to breakfast empanadas and special flavors towards the end of the week! There's always something new to try here, and with the use of premium ingredients, these empanadas really hit the spot. Plus, the crust is very crunchy and flaky. Super reasonable prices too and if you order through DoorDash, you can get an extra side which will be a nice complement to your meal! I'll be back time and time again. These are the best empanadas I've tried in NJ (after my mom's Colombian ones, of course)!
