Dumpling Den

This place is great. Food is on point. They have chicken and lamb dumplings if you don't eat pork. The beef noodle soup is amazing too, and comes w/ chicken broth. The owner is really nice, and he treats his staff with compassion. He even went into details about where the food is from in China. I'm a geography wonk, so this was A+ for me. I came here one day w/ my girfriend, around the time that NJ allowed indoor dining at 25% capacity, and he literally cooked a meal and fed his entire staff. Almost brought tears to my eyes. The combination of good food, nice owner, great customer service from the wait staff, and cooks makes this place a 5 star location and a place to stop even if you aren't in Fort Lee!

Great and friendly staff. A lot of space to eat inside and outside on sidewalk as well. Environment and street is nice to visit. Food is amazing and my friends love it.

General Tso's chicken, a staple dish from Chinese take out is not cooked correctly. It's literally chicken nuggets mixed with sweet and sour sauce. Coating batter is not correct or they didn't fry with high enough temperature to get it crispy. The chicken underneath the coating is flavorless. Although I work around this area, I've been here only twice. The first time is when they first opened and this time after a year. No improvement at all. Not recommended.

Ever since I moved to Fort Lee a year ago, Dumpling Den is my favorite go-to place - their dumplings are freshly made and their veggie & soup dumplings are my family’s favorites. They also have delicious other dishes like Sichuan fish. We also like chatting with the owner who always has a smile.

Great selection of authentic Chinese food. The jajiang noodles and scallion pancakes are among our favorites. Al, the owner, is friendly and provides great customer service. Check this place out! Waaayyy better than River House in Edgewater.
