High School for Law, Advocacy and Community Justice

This school really did my child bad, after busting her brain to be able to attend prom 2018 and after myself repeatedly asking for an appointment with the counselor and principal an appointment was never given because the counselor said in her word I’m going to handle it just do your part and I’ll do mine.. at last minute after purchasing her dress and getting excited about the day my child was informed she won’t be able to attend prom for one gym class but others who is missing regents are attending prom today I really don’t think is fair and the counselor should be in trouble for her lies counselor for 11 and 12 graders so this school is good but the counselors are about lies so don’t listen when they say don’t come in cause they got it cause they didn’t have nothing my child is home crying and depressed due to the counselor and principal of liesnPs not to mention she has a leg injury that prohibits her form participating in gym !!!

I was in this High School for 2 years. Its a very nice school with nice disciplines. The environment is great. Coming from another country where I did not speak English, it was hard at the very beginning . But, with the help of the teachers and stuffs, I've graduated in 2 years with a good academic performance.nnI'd recommend this school for anyone.

I play basketball here for the FastBreakNYC basketball league. The court is very nice and clean. Unlike most other gyms I've played at the bathrooms were also very well kept and did not smell. The gym is very well lit and the temperature is good. The gym plays a large role in how one enjoys the game and this place is great.

My son applied to this school because he was interested in law. Unfortunately this school teaches nothing about law. This school deceived me and my child.

As a graduate of M.L.King Jr- H.S. (while under the auspices of Dr. Ronald King - 1980), I remember the curriculum being challenging. Now after almost 33 years; if I were yet a resident of my native state (New York), it would be an honor to know my son graduated from the same institution. We cannot expect our children to aspire to greatness, if we are not going to first show them what they're made of !!!
