Had eye surgery here last year. They gave me the usual eyeglass cleaning kit with my new reading glasses that not only been opened but the eye moisture drops had either been all used up or drained away, and the lens-wiping cloth was dirty with brown grime all over it. GROSS! They obviously don't care about the effects of giving a post surgery patient dirty materials to put in and around their eyes. Also, they seem to talk to all their patients like they're blocks of wood being moved down some kind of discount dementia conveyor belt, regardless of their age. My interactions with my doctor were unpleasant and I'm glad he's gone elsewhere, but I feel sorry for his future patients.

I have hands down had the worst experience all around with Dr. Nash. I attempted to have a temporary prism put on, and they put in on the wrong eye. It was sent to the optical lab with the wrong eye by the doctor. Then he somehow forgot it was only a temporary prism. He forgets and changes a lot of things. When I went to fill my (final in theory)glasses prescription at the optical lab, it wasn't even sent over. So I had to go back to the front desk, and they talked to the lab assistant. Etc.nI get my glasses and they are truly the worst prescription I've ever had. When going back to see Dr. Nash the second time, he convinced me to get bifocals. My mom was in the same room when he said it, and she also encouraged it. This time the prescription was sent over, but the optical lab didn't get a prescription for bifocals. The optical lab was nice enough to call me and tell me that the doctor didn't order them, so we went back to the clinic to talk to Dr. Nash. So between us walking to the optical lab, he changed it and didn't add the bifocal. He just...lied. Said he didn't think I needed them quite yet. Which is not at all what he said to us. It was bewildering, and had I not had someone in the same room hearing the same thing, I would have questioned my own sanity.nOn top of all this, the clinic just sent me ANOTHER bill, after I had already paid my copay. There is some wording about an adjustment, but all around it is the most untrustworthy practice I've been to.nAnd yeah, my glasses are still not right. So I'm pretty bitter about getting another bill.

Poor administrative staff. I was an established customer at Bay Eye Clinic. The doctors are great. I just got insurance from a seasonal job I have. I attempted to make an appointment and was told I would need a referral from my doctor before they would make an appointment. So I got the referral then Bay Eye said the refferal has to go to my insurance. When I called my insurance they informed me to tell Bay Eye that I have VSP. I called back Bay Eye and they said they don't accept VSP. VSP is one of the most popular vision insurance companies. I'm tired of the hassle.nnI recommend looking somewhere else.

The doctors are okay, but the administrative service is a nightmare. If you schedule an appointment, there is a 66% chance (based off my experience) that when you show up, the appointment will have been changed without notice. This last time, the staff checked me in for my appointment, had me sit in the lobby for 40 minutes, then informed me the appointment had been changed and I was not scheduled. The terrible attitude and nasty body language of the staff is just salt in the wound.

I felt very comfortable with dr. Lee and we'll be looking forward to going back
