Atmosphere Academy Public Charter Schools - 6th Grade Campus

I’m a sister of a student here and he likes it a lot And everything is good even online school is fun for him (kinda?)

I like this school because some of the teachers are too hard on the children while some are very nice.

For me as a parent it has been a great experience having my daughter in this charter school. It has been a great experience overall with the magnificent teacher, staff and committee they have. I would recommend and have recommended this school to family and friends. The cirruculm, the activities and the professionalism they have is way beyond expectations. I still cannot forget they day I received the acceptance letter that she had won the lottery raffle. My daughter has improved in her education and as a young lady has more importance in values. Best school ever.

I am the parent of an Atmosphere student. Atmosphere is a great school that stresses the importance of education and social responsibility. The staff members show the utmost care and dedication to the students and their families. The administration is responsive to the ideas and feedback shared by the parents and the students. The building is very safe and the students are respectful. The school places great emphasis on respect, citizenship, social justice, and academic achievement. Students receive rewards and recognition for their own positive behaviors and academic accomplishments. The school promotes core values. There is a lot of homework, and the days are long, so the students work hard. There is much opportunity for individual teacher attention. This is a wonderful school in District 10 in the Bronx that promotes academic achievement, sets high academic standards, and works hard with the school community to close achievement gaps in our community. The school continues to improve and in its few years of existence has already had a wonderful impact on many middle school students. At Atmosphere, as parent involvement grows, as parents' investment in education continues to increase, and as the strong and caring school leadership continues, the school will only continue to expand and improve for our young scholars.

This School is not welll, My child goes to this school and he hates it! They pressure the students, separate them into groups technically based on grades and puts the labels like “HONORS” this makes my child feel very insecure about himself. My child did not feel safe at all! not much freedom whatsoever. The teachers hold a grudge onto my child. And get mad at him for the littlest of things. I just Hoped for a better experience
