Good selection of wines

Let me start by saying that I don’t visit wine or liquor stores very often. My wife doesn’t drink much either - only on occasion.nnTonight I found myself searching “wine store near me” and landed at Linwood Wine at Hudson Lights. Upon entering, after being greeted by the friendly gentlemen behind the counter, my eyes widened at what I was looking at. Thousands of varieties of wine and liquor. A few moments later and I suddenly feel lost, dazed, and confused. I don’t drink! Let alone have any knowledge of wine, regions, tart vs sweet vs dry. It’s all alien to me.nnSuch a beautifully-presented and well-kept store with so many options should include someone with enough knowledge to recommend a good wine to bring home to the wife, right? That’s most definitely right.nnI approached TJ, asked for a recommendation and that’s when the lesson began. My mind is blown with the knowledge and insight he shared with me. So incredibly helpful.nnThen I met Jeff - who proceeded to blow my mind even more than TJ. I was blessed with a 15-second life lesson on the significance of wine and how the sacred beverage originated at a time where humans were in the early stages of evolution. I can’t stress this enough - these guys know their stuff and they are so incredibly warm and friendly.nnThe only occasions I purchase liquor/wine is for clients, friends, and family on special occasions, and maybe once in a blue moon my wife and I will grab a bottle to have with dinner. I can tell you right now that I have no reason to go anywhere else after tonight. These guys just earned my business for good and I will recommend Linwood Wine - Hudson Lights to anyone whenever I have the opportunity to share a recommendation.nnThanks Jeff! Thanks TJ! Clean and bright interior. Wide range of selections. Kind staffs. I love this place. Only one thing that I want in this place is finding-sign. It will be much better if some hanging or table-standing signs in accordance with the grape or countries of wines are there.

Good selection at times - light on some things other times. Some prices are higher than they should be while others are rock bottom. So be prepared to know what you are looking for & be able to come back if you would like.
