Can someone tell me what’s wrong with this Chinese lady so disrespectful and rude...

I’ve read other reviews and I always have great customer service. People are not patient and want things their way all the time and no one thinks of the person working. I’m always treated with respect and she’s super friendly. She can’t help it if USPS doesn’t hire someone else. She’s always by herself and does her job. Give her a break people. Plus people in Paterson ( not everyone) can be really rude. Please let’s treat people with respect and if you don’t want to wait in line there is always another post office you can go to.

If I could go lower than 1 star I would. I came to this location on 4/11/19 to mail some important tax documents at 11:20am. When I walked inside the lights behind the glass where the employees usually are were off and it was completely dark back there. Another woman was waiting and said she doesn't know what was happening, there was a note on the window that read be back soon. I knocked on the glass and a woman came from the back and stated she was on lunch and that I needed to come back in an hour to an hour and a half. I said seriously? I have important paperwork to mail is there anyone else who can cover? The woman looked at me then just rudely continued to the back without answering. I was upset and left to run some other errands then came back at 12:35, still no sign of anyone! Knocked on the window again, nothing this time. Waited five more minutes and finally left for good. This location opens at 9:30 which means this woman was on lunch less than two hours into her shift with no coverage and over an hour later this office is still not functioning. To do this especially in the middle of tax season is completely unacceptable, I've filed an official complaint with the usps who knows what will come of it but had to at least try. Office hours say 9:30- 4:30 so i assume most people who work 9-5 will try and come during lunch hours, so to have zero coverage at that time is ridiculous. Must be nice to get paid to work a 7 hour shift but get to take lunch for two of them.

The Chinese woman is super disrespectful. Do NOT go to this post office if you’re looking for simple employee respect. I won’t be giving them my business if they treat customers like garbage. She barks at all the customers like a dog. A basic etiquette class would do her some good. I’m not sure why she’s still employeed here, the manager must not really care about customer service either. I’m sure there are many capable people who would love to have her job and do it right. I was astounded how many customers she treated so badly and no one said anything to her. This should NOT be the norm on how consumers are treated in the United States. This is not how a visit to the post office should go. Getting yelled at by workers for going to the post office is absolutely ridiculous! If you’re looking for employees with standards you won’t find them here. The USPS in Clifton is far superior to this one and the employees are actually well knowledgeable and offer exceptional service.
