The Gadson Gallery

Artists and entrepreneurs Laura Gadson and Shimoda have created an exceptional and unparalleled shopping experience in the garden and parlor levels of this historic Harlem brownstone. I make it a point to get to as many of their curated events as possible (and commuting by public transportation from NJ to Harlem on the weekends is no small feat). The carefully selected artists and designers showcase OOAK wares and each time I attend I leave with merchandise best described as couture, chic, wearable art treasures. The BEST part of my experience is not the magnificent finds though, it's the magnificent people, conversation and pure joy, generated in an atmosphere of love by artists, connoisseurs and friends. Even the times when I can't shop I go for the joy of being in this environment. Truly, the best shopping experience ever, I wish I had the recipe for the awesome magic The Gadson Gallery creates.

Great way to support lical artists. Rgey offfer a variety of unique handmade gifts including cards, stained glass, clothing, jewelry, shoes and home decor. Nothing machibe made here. Many price points.
