Columbia University Visitors Center

Racially profiled by 15-20 public safety officers, walking up and down the stairs around us for 25-30 minutes, while visiting the open part of the Morningside campus. We sat on the stairs having a conversation, with no incident or disturbance on our part. Discrimination is supposedly against their policy. Proof was in the behavior. This happened 5/31/2020.

Took a tour with my son, just want to say our tour guide Justin was very informative and patient. Made me want to reapply to college and do it all over again. Wonder why Columbia wasn't on my mind when i was applying to university.

Our family visited Columbia on an undergraduate tour. Campus was beautiful; clean, well maintained, lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the weather, and a nicely centralized campus. Our tour guide was friendly and open to questions as well as telling us about her experiences at Columbia, and, unlike other tours, we had the chance to really view inside a lot of buildings other campus tours might just tell you about, not bring you through (such as showing a dorm room). :)

Well worth the visit. There are free guided tours every Monday and Wednesday
