Minton's Playhouse

I loved my time here. The music was great and so was the food. I got the veggie burger which is one of their vegan options and I really enjoyed it! I would go back no questions asked and recommend it to any Jazz lovers or people who enjoy live music.

Had the opportunity to patron this wonderful place on December 20, 2019. The atmosphere is very quiet and quaint!! Love the live jazz set, so amazing! Food was great as well.nnFirst time experience, this is a great playhouse!!

Coming from Australia, I wasn't sure I would love a jazz lounge; I knew I'd enjoy it, but I was unsure as to the extent. But, oh sweet baby James...! This was the highlight of our trip to New York! If we hadn't come here on our last night in NYC I'd have been buying tickets to the next night's show on the way out the door!nIf you enjoy cool lighting, intimate atmospheres, and are open to jazz that slows and relaxes your soul, do yourself the favour and visit Minton's!

This was an amazing experience!nSamara (I hope I'm spelling it right) the manager on duty last night went above and beyond for me and my party of 16. She was over accommodating and deserves recognition. It was truly a night to remember. Thank you so much!!!

I’ve been coming to Mintons for a number of years, I’ve always loved it. Great music, delicious food and drinks not to mention spectacular service, overall a great experience. Until recently, they seem to have changed management and one can tell. The music was flat, service was mediocre, drinks were run of the mill, the food was still good but the service was so bad that it made the whole experience mediocre at best. To my surprise the venue was empty, and I soon discovered why. Please bring back the old management.
