Great wine shop in Hamilton Heights. Space is on the small side but gives the impression of a well curated selection. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about wine, and are quick to offer suggestions given some notes or examples of stuff you like. Fridays (and Saturdays) they do wine tastings, which is a great way to get familiar with different things. They offer a relatively small selection of spirits and vermouth too. I absolutely love this wine shop. I've been living in West Harlem for 7 years, so Wine and Unwind has been such a great addition to our neighborhood. I've ordered(delivery and in store purchase) a lot from them, and every recommendation has been stellar. They have an amazing selection...very important to me since I'm big on travel and always visit Vineyards/wine bars at each destination. I love their app, it allows me to order my favs online, but when if I feel overwhelmed and need suggestions, I call and the staff is so helpful. Alexandra is so helpful; I needed a good white wine to cook with and she had the perfect recommendation...her suggestion helped my meal taste like a 5 star meal! She's my go to...I just ordered a few wines today and each of her suggestions were excellent. Visiting the store is always a pleasure....whether its the owner or Alexandra helping me, its always a good experience. Love when they have wine tastings too. Delivery is always prompt and friendly.

Nice selection curated by the very friendly owner. Great mix of old world and natural wines, which can be hard to find uptown! They also have ciders. Go here!
