FDNY Engine 59, Ladder 30

Please be mindful when you are returning from a call that you go down residential blocks, with young students/children living in the homes, and blowing the horn rudely (not once or twice but leaning on it with an attitude) is not a good look. I understand someone may be blocking the street (double parking, etc.--you know, normal NYC stuff), but leaning on the horn after 10:30 when returning from a call is uncalled for. Act like you serve your own neighborhood and maybe you might think about your actions differently. Please respect your neighbors.

This is a huge thank you to mike and manny and all the paramedics from ny Presbyterian who responded today to assist my life long friend in an hour of need. Our gratitude is beyond words and from the heart. The respect consideration and professionalism was beyond imagination. She is resting peacefully. Today, on the eve of the anniversary of 9/11 we honor all those who serve the many emergency needs of new yorkers and the memory of those who have given their lives and been changed forever in the service of our city.
