Providence Medical Clinic - Happy Valley

This place has such good energy and some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. From the reception people to the nurses to the nurse practioners to the doctors everyone is amazing. My favorites are Mo Jones, NP, Monica Myklebust MD, and nurses Judy and Holly. They care, hug, comfort, pray, empower, truly focus on the patient, and treat you like you matter with a minimum of 1/2 hour per visit. Also, they have Urgent Care here and a Diabetic Educator named Jocelyn Smith who is amazing.

I can only rate this clinic based on my own experiences. I've visited this clinic about a dozen times (or possibly a few more). The staff was always polite and helpful. My contacts with doctors and nurses were excellent. The Providence model for delivery of primary care is based on a team approach with the primary physician not spending enormous amounts of time with individual clients. Even so, my primary physicians have been friendly and attentive. I did not feel rushed.

The worst experience of my life at urgent carenMy wife and I went to happy valley providence urgent care the visit started off like normal, then we talked to the nurse who was very nice pateint and understanding.nThen when the physician assistant came in she acted like what we discussed with the nurse wasent going to happennWhen trying to figure where things went wrong with the translation with the information that was shared with the nice nurse my wife was told to calm down, at that point we both realized that we were not going to staynWe went to the front desk to complainnThe person that came out as the supervisor made things much worse all she could do is say mmhah mmhuh in a very condescending way!, mmhah. Over and over againnAt that point we realized that she was no help so we said we are done and are leaving ,then as we are leaving in a very sarcastic way she said OK GOOD BY You know the tone like we we being told to get lost !!nIt felt like the twilight zone the arrogance was beyond what I have ever experienced .

Haley checked me in,very friendly. I thought it polite to say she step away from the desk to get papers off the printer first as it pertained my information. Molly the Dr.'s assistant was helpful during rotine wt. and doing vitals.Dr. Jeff Provelka spent sufficient time to review meds and med progress and much encouragement to continue progress and up date new steps I fell into depression aft loosing my sister,her being my very best friend. Thanks to Dr.for being understanding and patient with me.

Doctors are great, however the lab is awful. I come in every 2 months for blood work, and this woman is the absolute slowest at getting people back and out. Sometimes there will be someone else covering for her, and those are the best days to go in.
