Paramus Public Library

I AM A JOURNALIST AND MY PAGES PAISTE INTO A FIVE SUBJECT NOTEBOOK WHICH USUALLY FITS FIVE TO 6 WEEKS. WAY BEFORE THE PANDEMIC, I WAS USED TO WRITING A TERRIFIC DAY AND INSPIRED BY AMY SCHUMER’S BOOK TO WRITE HUMOROUS ENTRIES ETC. WHEN THE PANDEMIC HIT, PARAMUS LIBRARY CLOSED FOR SOME TIME. THEY OPENED IN AUGUST AND I WAS ABOUT THREE MONTHS BEHIND, YET I JUST ADAPTED TO A LIFESTYLE OF PRINTING A DATE THREE MONTHS EARLIER, LIKE PRINTING A MAY DATE IN AUGUST. I DON’T MIND AT ALL & LOVE TO BE LIKE, I REMEMBER THIS DAY! THE PRINTING SERVICE IS FANTASTIC!

Library closes at 5:00pm on Saturdays; however they turned off the computers at 4:30 pm. Excuse they have was that session is of 30mins and if somebody has not come till 4:30pm they won’t come and use computer. I asked them what if someone has work on computer of only 5-7 mins!!! and they come at like 4:40 pm while they still have time before library closes. She said that’s the policy. But I do not see that policy displayed in writing anywhere inside library! This is sheer waste of time of public and compromising their rights just coz they want to shut library at dot 5pm which they can do by giving computer user a heads up and displaying that so called policy in writing at computer stations

Bathroom always occupied. Men's is one for whole building. Otherwise 5 stars.

Clean library with good selections of books, but the librarians should talk in lower voices that can help preserve the reading environment. Thank you for good selection of books and movie CDs!
