Every time I have to call this court either I get hung up on or dismissed ! Why can you just get my file number and answer my question . If I could check my file number using your system I would not be calling. Even more frustrated because I’m out of state , is not like I can take a cab or the bus there !nI often call white plains court because they are polite , answer promptly and answer your question ! They don’t leave me wondering about my case until the day of it .

The people that work there are nice but the wait is long. I even had to call to confirm something after a hearing and the customer service was wonderful.

Because of this place I can't see my son and I'm trying my best to contact the grandmother but the lady is violating like I told the case worker this was going to happen.....pay for a lawyer and fight!!!

I have experienced Yonkers Family court before they moved to this location. It saddens me that when calling for a question, no one picks up the phone. I found that calling White Plains, family court, is the best way to go. They are very helpful and answer the phones.nWhen you appear for a hearing it seems it's first come (with both parties present) first serve. They don't start until it seems 9:30 am or 10:am. you go through a metal dector. You go to the window and make sure you have your identification out. They yell it all the time. Then you wait until someone calls your name. Bring your phone charger as it does take a long time for them to call your case. Turn the volume down on your cell phone (just don't turn it off, my mistake).nyou go into these small glass window rooms and it's your little courtroom.nIt would be great if, Yonkers family court didn't adjourn things months away. Many people have been waiting for years to hear a case, because the court system is backup. Yet, they won't have many cases in White plains, which in my open they should.
