I would never recommend Liberty Travel of Montvale NJ. Our agent for my friends wedding was Dorothy. My friends wedding was cancelled due to the nationwide pandemic and the safety of their family and friends. When Dorothy at Liberty Travel was contacted and asked about why during a pandemic deposits and travel insurance was not given back we were told (with an attitude) that it is company policy and that their was nothing else she could do. The trip was cancelled in June but the refunds were not submitted until July and we are being told it can take 60-90 days. When people are struggling during a national pandemic you would think a major company would have more of a heart and refund their customers since things are beyond there control. I will never use this company again

Linda Colombo at Montvaile Liberty Travel organized our family group vacaction this year July 2019. We booked and paid months ahead for Dominican Republic up until the US Govt's said for US Travelers to refrain from going entirely because of the recent unknown reasons for tourists dying. They recommended to bring 2-3 weeks of food per person on the State Department website. There were 15-20 of us in this multi-generation group comprised of some seniors and babies, hence no one wanted to gon to DR.nnThe group contacted Linda two months prior to departure to cancel Domimnican Republic because of the crisis and book elsewhere. Well, Linda had already gotten the entire groups money and would not provide any assistance in getting us a comperable hotel at another cournty, even thought the airlines perfectly understood our concern and they (airlines) waved all fees and provided an alternate flight to another desitination at any time within a year. NOT Linda at Liberty Travel she said we must go during the exact same time period or forfieit ALL money.nnAfter wrangling, she finally agreed (one week before travel) to place us in a much lower level hotel in a country we had already traveled to the year before and kept all of the five star hotel money we had all paid already. The Dream Sands could not even accomodate all of us for meals, at the very small beach fronting hotel, or just plain coffee. The rooms had no balcony and faced a brick wall. We could not share the family/group experience anywhere on the property because they were not used to such a large group. Upon return, I contacted Linda and she was rude and uncompromising and stated it was not her fault?

Just an amazing place to work. Actually their lunch area there are several options of Tea - Coffee - Yoga - Ping pong table among other chances to relax an forget about a little of your daulily duties at work... Ahhhh without mentioning they have an ice machineeeee Cool. Place
