Had gotten sick from the result salmonella egg contamination from eating at a diner in Ramsey.nCalled the Health Department and left a message. No one called back. Next day called again. Woman answered and said there was nothing they can do unless there was a serious outbreak. I mention the recall. She said that they were aware of it and likely the dinner was too because they get the same email warning of it. She said they can’t contact over 300 places. I said I was asking to contact only one. Many older people eat there and a old woman had ordered the exact same sunny side up eggs as I did.nWhat I don’t understand is, can the Ramsey Health Department be so overwhelmed with work? It seemed I was this woman’s teeth just to call the diner. I would have done it myself beforehand if I wasn’t so sick.
