I Bought a new piece of kitchen equipment for our restaurant Boulevard Clams in Surf City and had to remove the old broiler. We put it out on the curb, but it was sticking out in the street a few feet causing a road hazard.Police called and said it had to be moved. Rather than spend half a day traveling back and forth to the shore to rectify the problem, I called Borough Hall to speak to the person in charge of trash collections. I spoke to Grace in the borough office and explained my problem. She took all of my information and said she would call me back. Less than five minutes later Grace called back after speaking to the Police Chief and the Superintendent of Public Works with a solution to my problem. She saved me 4 hours of travel and gave me piece of mind. She is a perfect example of how government should operate and went well above and beyond the scope of what is expected of her. Grace, you're the best.
