Christina Blatchford, DMD

It was bad enough I visited this clinic one time recently, and a tooth I was having problems with, she could not find anything wrong ( the tooth had an infection in it, and was taken care of about 6 days later at a different dentist ) but I just discovered that at least her father, is one of Donald Trump's largest campaign contributors, in Oregon. Good thing they will never suck another dollar out of me!!

I originally tried this office as a new patient for a basic cleaning and exam. The cleaning went well but I felt that Dr. Blatchford was a little too focused on suggesting cosmetic dentistry (which I don't need or want) and retaining me as a customer for a much more expensive procedure (i.e., implant which I did ask about) than in the task at hand.nnFast forward a few months and I call for my next basic check up/cleaning only to find out that Dr. Blatchford has sold this practice, and is in fact no longer practicing dentistry. As a patient I was not notified that she was leaving and when I questioned the receptionist about the change she seemed very uncomfortable about my asking. A quick Google search shows that Dr. Blatchford is now in the business of advising dental providers regarding buying and selling of their practices. I'm not surprised by this as her demeanor at my visit was very remnicient of a salesperson but not so much a dentist.nnI find it very strange that the current dentists at this location (Hansen Family Dentistry per other reviews) continue to use Dr. Blatchford's name both online and at the physical location. Makes me wonder if part of selling her practice also included the use of her name, likeness and familiarity within our community (via heavy direct mail marketing). I don't feel comfortable booking services with any care provider that isn't candid about their own name and experience. I won't be returning and don't recommend.

I appreciate the office notifying me appointment openings and squeezing me in last minute. Judy gave me a thorough, efficient, and painless teeth cleaning. Dr Blatchford did a great job on my first crown with no complications. All staff I’ve encountered communicate clearly and kindly.

Dr. Blatchford and her team provided me with the most professional and thoughtful dental service that I have ever experienced. From the moment I entered Christina's office, the receptionist was very friendly and personable, making small talk to help diffuse the stress of a dental visit (I was a little nervous since it had been some time since I had been to the dentist).nnNext during my cleaning, I was given a neck pillow to make the cleaning more comfortable, and sun glasses to shield my eyes from the glaring exam light, both nice touches that I had not experienced elsewhere. My dental hygienist was also friendly and we had a conversation almost as sparkly as my teeth following the cleaning.nnThankfully, I only had one small cavity, which was filled much faster than the one I had with my previous dentist. Dr. Blatchford also provided me with options I might consider to improve my smile, thoroughly explaining the pros and cons of each, and also provided financing options. Members of her staff have had their smiles improved by Dr. Blatchford and the work speaks for itself.nnThere are even freshly baked treats in the waiting room for those feeling bold enough to eat sugar while at the dentist.nnThank you!nAndrew Patronite

They were great. I dread trips to the dentist but this was one of the best experiences yet. It was clear that they actually read the forms I had to fill-out before my first appointment and they made sure to bring up my anxiety about being at the dentist.nThroughout the session Renee regularly checked-in to see how I was doing and if I needed anything and everyone was very personable. Will be going back for regular cleanings.
