Gentech Dentist (now Advantage Dental Oral Health Center) - Clackamas

My boyfriend went in there with the left side of his face all puffed up with a major infection and they did NOT. Give him an antibiotic.. they did pull his tooth like he wanted but the next day that left side of his face was so swelled up he needed to go to the emergency room. Emergency room and us tried calling these people several times that day and they did NOT EVER answer their phone not for us that morning or the hospital.. emergency room dr. Gave him a referral to a specialist so they could do surgery.. at that time when I was in the waiting room while he was getting surgery gentech Finally decided to call.. I have a good feeling that I would not of even rec a call if I did not leave a voicemail like I did telling them that I'm going to talk to my bf about suing for medical malpractice.. all this could have been avoided with one mean prescription of an antibiotic..nSoo to sum it up.. he had a bad infection to begin with then put his body under the stress of pulling his tooth didn't clean the infection out didn't give him an antibiotic and yesterday was hell because of it.. not to mention they were rude and snotty and said me and my son could not come in not to even wait at the waiting room but yet when we went to the orthopedic surgeon I could be in the room with him all the way up to the point of surgery. The orthopedic specialist that we went to just in case u want to avoid a disaster was in the mt hood hospital building 100 suit 2

Poor quality service, got the run around asking for my dentist. Tongue is still twitching from from nerve damage...lawsuit?

Gentech Dentist helped me out tenfold. I initially went in for a cavity that was bothering me and while there, told Dr. Houghton I was concerned about my gums. He took a look and offered me on the spot surgery. We got one side done (he and Jose even stayed late in order to help me out). Upon telling him that I was moving out of state and was worried about having to pay for surgery (on the other side of my gums) without insurance upon my move, Gentech squeezed me in for another appointment. Both sides are now done and my gums are healing up nicely! I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. Dr. Houghton was empathetic, kind, funny, and clearly skilled. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

Went in for an orthodontic consultation today and was very happy with the treatment I received! Jessica made me feel very safe and comfortable, and was prepared to answer all of my questions.nnThe folks up there are very lucky to have her on their team, she radiates kindness and has this amazing ability to put even the most nervous of people (like myself) at ease.

Very disorganized and performed services i did not ask for that my insurance wouldnt cover and didnt get my permission. do yourself a fvor and go somewhere else.
