This school and it's principal Greg Brandis, should be ashamed of themselves. You have no right to infringe on the constitutional rights of your students. Frankly, what happens outside of the school, did not originate in the school, and has nothing to do with the school is none of your damn business. Forcing your political views onto students and punishing them when they don't agree with you is wrong. I hope the appropriate authorities investigate this violation and intervene on behalf of these wrongfully persecuted young men.
My vacation was greatly disturbed because my niece's high school transcript from Lacey HS 2017 was not properly signed by the school principal and did not have the date of graduation. Therefore the college would not accept the transcript. This resulted in numerous calls to the St John's University Queens NY and the Lacey HS through the morning and afternoon. This task was not handled properly by the Lacey HS school staff. Amateur hour. Also traffic control at most well attended events was horrible. Lacey PD great but no on property direction resulted in chaos.
Perfect example of over stepping their boundaries. This is why parents pull their kids out of the public school districts. Shame, shame, shame
Any educational entity that punishes it's students for activities that are legal and guaranteed by the Constitution and that are off campus, not under the auspices of that entity, nor in anyway connected to that entity, while under parental guidance and supervision.....does not deserve to be called a learning institution. You have violated civil rights. You have placed a scurrilous stamp on personal records. You deserve, not only censure, but prosecution as well. Suspended children for family photos at a gun range. Trying to dictate what children can and cant do off school time and school property. This school is a bunch of liberal dictators.
