I have been using their sauna at lease twice per month for about a year now; I love it. In fact, I have lost about 5 lbs this year, although I am not sure wheater it has anything to do with the sauna or not; I think so. I love their calm and peaceful atomsphere. I highly recommend this place to you or your love ones.

I am thrilled to be working with Dr. Susana Watson at Althea Wellness Clinic! I'm someone who is hesitant to go to the doctor unless it's an emergency, which has prevented me from addressing some on-going issues I've had for several years. When I decided to get help, I wanted to work with a doctor that would help me focus holistically on my health and treat the underlying issues instead of just the symptoms.nnDr. Watson listens closely to her patients needs and carefully considers how their treatment plan will work within their lifestyle. She explains complex information with empathy & patience, ensuring that all of your concerns are addressed and questions are answered. She is prompt with follow-ups and truly cares for her patients overall well being. I'm very thankful to have found a doctor who is professional, friendly and so easy to talk to! Plus, the clinic is beautiful and always relaxing to visit. Thank you for providing a wonderful service!

I’ve been using the infrared saunas for the last 6 months and it’s been helping reduce my joint stiffness, muscle aches and liver detoxification. I love the feeling as the heat starts to sooth and loosen my tight muscles. The sweat my body produces is amazing and I feel light and refreshed after my 40-minute sessions. The sauna offers color light therapy, relaxing music and there is pleasant scent of cedar that is soothing. I would encourage everyone to try infrared saunas.

I wanted to write this review because I know how much weight people give to reviews when researching a doc to see (it's a big decision!!), and I want to make sure that people who need great, personalized care know that Dr. Watson is more than able to provide that for them!nnIt's unusual to find a doctor these days who will spend the time to REALLY listen to their patients - a doctor who will go home and do RESEARCH for their patients - a doctor who knows how to treat the WHOLE person. Dr. Watson is passionate about what she does, and I can tell she's passionate about helping people feel better. I totally understand why people refer even their family members to her - she's got such a caring, nurturing, kind soul. She treats many different conditions and also has experience with mold and environmental toxicity. She recently informed me of all the chemicals that they spray in our parks! It's so great to be aware of what's in our environment, especially if it is affecting our health negatively and causing our symptoms.nnLastly, I just want to comment on the actual clinic space itself. Althea is a BEAUTIFUL clinic. It is a very healing space and I always feel so welcomed and relaxed (and taken care of!) when I'm there. They have 2 far infrared saunas there. I didn't know that not only can these specific saunas help you detox chemicals, mold, toxins, etc from your body (much better than a classic Swedish sauna), but they can also help with circulation (cardiovascular health), relieve pain, improve your immune system, improve your sleep and improve your skin health!! I want to get a membership where I could use these saunas twice weekly, for overall health, as they seem to help support every system in the body.nnThank you Dr. Watson for all that you do!!!! Excellent space, very calming, lovely sauna. Felt wonderful after my sessions. It was better each time.
