What a pleasant experience! I had been dreading going to the DMV for months and decided to go at 2pm on a Tuesday. There was no line and we were in and out & all the staff was very courteous! Very well organized!
Extremely rude employees. Was one of the first customers of the day, there is no reason for them to be that angry that early. Extremely long wait times, had to show up at 5am to be eighth in line. All of the DMV's are like this. New Jersey has to get it's stuff together and figure something better out. But the girl I waited with was super cool, would definitely wait in line with her again 10/10!
While the lines are a little long the staff I dealt with were friendly helpful and patient. Social distancing was being enforced and everybody had masks.nnAll the staff I observed working with other customers we're also doing a great job even with the added hurdle of communicating with people who had a heavy accent and were having trouble communicating in a way the staff could understand.
It was wonderful. With all the people on a daily basis requiring their services, they have done a wonderful job streamlining the process. Dividing services among different locations works well and I encourage DMV to continue this in the future.
It's 2020, if you are going to be closed for a whole week, try posting it online so people don't have to waste their time.
