Lake Theater & Cafe

Food is delicious and our go to whenever we are downtown LO. Their salads, burgers and pizza are amazing! Staff is great and the location is beautiful on the lake.

I’ve only been here for events so not sure if this review is the most helpful. Beer list is small but has a good variety. I ordered food once and enjoyed it but that was last year and the menu seems to have changed. Nothing caught my eye this time. The front staff seems to be annoyed that they were working during the event. Maybe that’s true, but don’t display it!

A cozy place with excellent lake views. I had an excellent sandwich and really enjoyed the ambiance. Will definitely go back in warmer weather when I am back. This would be an excellent place to pull up in a boat.

Lake Theater popcorn has been my favorite since we moved here last year. I've been many times, and have never been disappointed until tonight. We ordered a large popcorn to go and we got popcorn directly in the bag, with butter sprayed all over the inside of the bag. It dripped all over the inside of my car and created a huge mess. The taste is just as good as usual (minus the butter, as not much got on the popcorn itself) but I'm disappointed with the takeout service tonight in specific. Hopefully this was an anomaly, as I was looking forward to a home movie night with my favorite theater treat.

I love this place. I've been to see movies, the food is great too. As a musician who puts on shows, this is one of my favorite places to play. They take great care of people who come see my shows. Dean Mueller, who does the music booking, is top notch to work with along with the whole team.
