Oregon State Board of Nursing

What a joke. Began a new licensure application in May 2020, it is now nearly 12/2020. I am a RN in a nearby state. I have spent so much money and time trying to get the endorsement my employer now requires (though I do not live nor practice in Oregon). My opinion is Oregon requires all of these tasks in order to make more money. What a joke. Simply showing my current state RN license does not suffice.

For a few weeks I been trying resolve some issues with licensing renewal and on issues and they blame website .. Sorry getting three or four word answers in email's isn't professional. also upon trying to request my credentials be sent over to another state via email which was what was requested from another state I'm told they are no not able to do that I just feel that the people handling the emails on the other end during this covid-19.are very rude and making the transition during this time very hard.

Oregon state board of nursing needs to start focusing on doing background checks on renewals of license .

After dealing with the truly INCOMPETENT California BON for years it’s truly refreshing to know there is competence in other agencies. Licensed rather quickly--the biggest hold up--you guessed it--the California BON endorsement. Thanks Oregon BON.
