Stein Distillery Lake Oswego Tasting Room

Shop was nice. Everything was well presented. Just wish the young lady behind the counter was a bit more knowledgeable, since I am knew to the whiskey world. Not all is lost I picked up a bottle of the 5 year aged whiskey and son rum to go with it.nnUPDATE:nnI went back in a few weeks later to get another couple of bottle of Whiskey. The gentleman that was there was super helpful and knowledgeable. Described each style and what It would taste like. Would recommend for the beginner and those who are well versed in whiskeys.

I've walked by a dozen times because my child is in Kumon. Recently went here and WOW! There aren't enough kind words I can say about the level of knowledge and how awesome the service was. Excited to come back!

I bought a bottle of a berry liquor of some kind there. It was in a thin tall bottle and we got it to put over ice cream and berries. What is it called?

I wasn't really a whiskey drinker until I dropped in the the Stein tasting room. Jon poured me a line of tasters and I was walking home with the 5-year aged rye whiskey. A couple years later and I always have some Stein on my shelf.nnI'm not a regular enough drinker to make it down to the tasting room for a refill too often, but I'm that it and Jon are there. Nice views and atmosphere, great staff, and some of the best spirits that I've had. I hope that people stop in a give Stein a shot. You won't regret it.

Wonderful place to be! Either before a movie or afterwards Stein Distillery is the perfect spot for drinks and atmosphere. Every time you visit this place you have the opportunity to learn something about your favorite drinks and try something new. The sales manager is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions about distilling liquors and how your drink went from a barrel to the bottle. Great place to meet up with a date before a movie! ;)
