My wife had been given a ring from her mother that had been in their family for some time. As you can imagine it was missing some stones and needed sizing. Barbara knew exactly how to do the repairs and source the diamonds at a reasonable price. We were both amazed at how beautiful the ring is! It was done within the time frame Barbara quoted and the price was more than fair. I recommend Barbara happily to everyone I know looking for new jewelry and repairing old. She is a fountain of knowledge and skill!
WOW! What a wide range of talent Barbara Kennedy has in the jewelry world. She can repair old jewelry or make you a brand new piece even out of old stones or gold you might have. I've purchase many pieces from her and she has no competitors because she is so well trained in her field.
Barbara is one of the most talented jewelers I have ever worked with. She has a great sense of style and can see with an artist's eye not only what would be the best use of materials but can see what the customer wants and bring it to fruition. She is an excellent teacher and works with the student's skill level to help them make pieces of jewelry that you could never buy in the jewelry marketplace elsewhere. There is not enough time to sing all of her praises!
I am a beginner jewelry maker, barb was absolutely amazing. She is nice. knowledgeable and so patient. I learned how to solder and couldn't be happier with her instruction, demeanor & knowledge. If your experienced or new to jewelry she for sure is your go to!
Fantastic studio! I took a couple of art metals classes in college nearly a decade ago, and decided that I wanted to secretly make an engagement ring for my fiancé. Barbara was incredibly helpful, and the result was exactly what I was hoping for! Her instruction was exactly what I needed, and I couldn't be happier!
