Hemingway's Steaks & Seafood Restaurant

Great Atmosphere! The Hemmingway drink was refreshing and delicious. The ny strip steak with onions was fantastic. Wait staff was very attentive. Really nice place!

WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT - for not getting the service deserved???? We stayed at the Grand Hotel in Cape May and had a fabulous weekend at the Vineyards. We thought we’d end it with breakfast at Hemingway’s In the Grand Hotel.... BIG mistake. We sat down - ordered our breakfast - After receiving our food we asked for more coffee and water....never saw our waitress again. We asked several times for water and more coffee - asked other waitresses who told our waitress and to no avail. We went to the Manager who walked in the kitchen and never came back out to us. We finally asked for the check.... after 15 minutes the hostess came out with coffee cups. We said we just wanted our check. The Manager NEVER came back. The hostess brought out check - we still tipped her (considering COVID- and lack of work) she apologized - we told her we understood it to not be her fault. When I went to the hotel to let them know our experience - Upon checkout I was unnecessarily approached HEMMINGWAYS manager who said - I cursed at the hostess. I absolutely DID not. So, to add insult to injury not only did we get HORRIBLE service I wasnfalsely accused of cursing at the hostess. DONT GO.

Steakhouse??? Far from it. Only 2 options for a steak, strip steak or filet. I chose the filet, medium rare, dry as anything, no seasoning no taste. Veggie of the day was peppers, celery, onions and a few chunks of squash...horrible.. baked potato was tiny, no butter to be found, so I used a cube of butter from the bread basket, sour cream was given in a plastic tube. Hubby had the stuffed flounder...ehh....Waitress was great I hope she leaves there and moves to a real steakhouse...oh and 111.00 later...so disappointed!

The service was incredible, the food was the only thing that was better! This place does a really nice job with social distancing highly recommend if you're in Cape May. The steaks are incredible.

Stayed at the grand hotel and got breakfast. Two omelets. It was inedible. It defiantly was all microwave reheated food. We were supposed to get today but randomly got a piece of French toast and a small pancake that was so soggy. I got a sausage omelet and it was so greasy because it was reheated. I would not recommend based on my experience.
