There is no better library in all of America. From their librarians and support team to their vast selection of books, programs and innovative lending services (cooking equipment, metal detectors etc.), the Avalon library stands as a forward thinking model for all to replicate. For those who are saying that libraries are a dying breed, they need only to come to Avalon to see how to evolve and to learn to how wonderful they can be. Love, love, love this library. One of my favorite places to be.
Those of us who live in Avalon are soooo lucky to have our 5 Star Library.nThey have long hours which enables everyone who works to get there.nTheir books, movies, programs are all top notch. They are unique in taking care of the owners and even those who vacation during the summer. Everyone there in not only super friendly but go out of their way to help you. If you have not been to Avalon's library, you should put it on your list when you are in town to go see!
The workers are so nice and welcoming! I love going here because of that reason. However, the book selection gas dwindled down over the years for the research side.
Avalon is home to the finest public library in America.
