I got approved for disability the wait time wasnt long at all and everyone showed alotta respect too u.The judge was very respectful and understanding of my injurys.im glad this process is over after 3 long stressful years.i wish everyone the best at this office.

My spouse was nearly killed during a routine pain injection for his lower back and was unable to work for two years. Social Security denied his initial claim because they received the wrong medical records. After appealing the decision multiple times, we finally got an adjudication hearing (two years later) and was found fully favorable for the time he was disabled. January 20, 2016 we received letter of award and was notified that we would receive another letter stating the amount he is to receive within 60 days and often times the payment itself would arrive before the letter. Here it is 4 months later and still no letter, no payment and no further information. We even contacted our U.S. Senators office and they too are outraged that this is progressing (more like the lack there of) so slowly. The Social Security system in this country is a joke!! People that don't deserve the benefits get them handed to them no questions asked, but when a hard working person suffers a tragic accident and depends on something that they pay into, they're met with red-tape, opposition, legal fights and a lack of information. We lost our home during the this whole mess and still haven't heard a single thing regarding his benefits.
