I come in every 6 months for a new planner and always end up needing to exercise a lot of self control to not drop $100 on nice odds and ends
The level of customer service I received was better than I expected. It was also no coincidence that one of the staff members was at the cafe I was visiting. Unbeknownst to her, Omoi Zakka Shop was the next stop on my itinerary for that day. I found pens that I needed, a beautiful Birthday card for a lovely friend, a stylish, functional AND reasonably-priced tote bag, and there were so many other items of interest to readers and writers. Also, this store allows in-store shopping, all staff members were wearing masks and there is a big bottle of Suave brand hand sanitizer by the door which had a nice, light scent and did not feel yucky. I look forward to returning to this store when I return to Philadelphia.
Not just stationary but lots of small, interesting, thoughtful items. Covid safe practices. A good place to shop for holiday gifts.
Both locations are wonderful shops. Consistently terrific selection of quality stationery, lifestyle, and home goods. Fun and affordable items on offer from cat stickers to beautiful Japanese made goods. The staff is always friendly and clearly love what they do. Thanks for being great, Omoi Zakka.
Great hidden gem! Bring a taste of Japan home with you. Carefully curated nicknacks some inexpensive others are not. Worth the trip!!!
