Ernie is great with kids! My son's jaw would pop and cause discomfort when eating chewy foods. Ernie did a fantastic job assessing the problem, providing exercises and instruction on how to strengthen muscles and movement memory. He made us both feel at ease and we got great results. I highly recommend ProActive and Ernie Sturzinger. Thanks Ernie!

All the staff at ProActive is FANTASTIC, from the Gals at the front desk who schedule appts and check you in, to the Physical Therapists who work directly with you to personally improve your health and well-being, while supervising the friendly and professional PT Assistants who help.

I am an avid cyclist and enjoy an active lifestyle. After unsuccessful treatments at my ND for painful traps and neck muscles, he referred me to PT especially for the significant tingling/numbing in one arm/hand. The therapy I received there, plus ongoing acupuncture and adjustments from my ND initiated healing. Ernie and Victoria were very professional, listened and knew what to do to solve it. I was given lots of exercises, encouragement, accountability the symptoms faded and are gone. It took about 6 weeks.nIt is definitely a team effort, they can only show what to do, I had to do the homework, it is worth it. Now I'm done with appointments but working on another issue with the other shoulder at home. I'm confident it will also heal with due diligence. No magic pill, hard work. PT is expensive for sure, couldn't do it without insurance, thankful to have it! I'm glad to be back on my bike painfree!nThanks to the team including their assistants, Taylor and Brandon.

I needed to learn how to recover from surgery (bilateral mastectomy) with exercise to regain strength and movement in my arms. I was also at risk for lymphedema and needed to learn how to watch for it as well as work to minimize development. I began PT about 3 weeks after surgery, not able to do much movement with my arms. The surgeon and staff called this T-Rex arms. However, today after 10 sessions over 13 weeks I have full range of motion in both arms AND I am able to do all my regular activities. I might even have better tone in my arms! I also have no symptoms of lymphedema; but what I do have is a wealth of information for what to look for and what to do if it develops. I highly recommend this facility and the amazing healthcare staff! Ernie is a skilled physical therapist and is also certified in lymphedema management and care. Thank you, Ernie, for ALL your help. I would also like to acknowledge and thank Grace for helping me with the exercises and being my cheerleader at every session. Thank you to all of the healthcare team members for your kindness, great humor and consistent encouragement. Your expertise and excellent care makes a huge difference, thank you!!

ProActive Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy is amazing. My 14 year old son injured his knee playing lacrosse and was instructed by an orthopedic doctor to do physical therapy for 5-8 weeks. I did a search for in-network providers and read the reviews about ProActive and decided to take a chance. They are fantastic. We were able to get an appointment immediately, they are open past 5 pm and their team of professional trainers are on point! My son is athletic and Ernie provided a strong, challenging program that allowed him to get back out on the field quickly and safely. Highly recommend!
