Clackamas County Social Services

I’ve worked with Clackamas County Health, Housing and Human Services (H3S) for the last two and a half years in my role as a Youth Peer Support Specialist. I’ve never met such a dedicated, professional group as those at Clackamas County H3S. I’d like to give specific shout-outs to Galli Murray and Kathy Turner in Mental Health, Raina SmithRoller and Abby Ahern in Housing, and Ally Linfoot in Peer Delivered Services for their unwavering support of Clackamas County youth.

The people here are extremely helpful. They have been helping my family with both of my son's need for years. I am so grateful to them for all of there support. Stephanie Quinn's and Sal have been amazing at helping me navigate the system.nnStephen has been my guide through all of this for 5 years. Sal is new to my children's case as of this year. He is new to the team and still has a lot to learn but he works hard and has a good heart. They gave out Christmas presents this year to all the kid's on their case lod. Sal was so thoughtful he even though of my daughter and got her a gift even though she not in there system.nnThey meet me at my house when we need to have meetings which Is a great help. I truly feel like they have my back when it comes to helping my kids.

This is a great resource!! Clackamas County Social Services is funded by Clackamas County. The programs are different than Oregon State Services. State is DHS AFP APS etcetera etcetera. It can be a fun game to discover the meaning of these acronyms. Hey why not make up your own!?nnClackamas County Social Services offers many great people and programs that will help and support you. They help families and individuals with kindness and respect.nnIf you have developmental differences, or other special needs they can find help for you. They have programs to help battered women. Not sure if they have services for Aging Adults.nnI have been so fortunate to have David Tom help my family. He is an example of the caring folks who work here. He sends emails with current events and resources to me and my son. He has helped us for years. To David Tom, a thank you isn't enough to convey our gratitude for all the time and support you give to us and others.nnI appreciate all the folks at Clackamas County Social (Peoples) Services!! So if you have a need ask the staff at CCSS. I hope you find the support needed to keep you going forward. Challenges in life are much better with someone to guide you.
