Clackamas County Veterans Services

I've worked with Heather and recommended all of my friends. What's most important of all is documentation. I've heard stories from people with bad experiences with different VSO's and sometimes although they cannot answer most of the questions, they'll refer you to other resources where you might get those answers. The more serious cases like some of my friends who're Vietnam War Vets really need legal assistance to acquire their benefits from the VA. I've learned that the longer you wait to get it done the longer it takes for the entire process which is dependent upon where service members' records are stored if they don't have a physical copy of it and then there's the advancement of technology and less dependency for the use of paper. My Uncle is also a Vietnam War Veteran who's too proud and stubborn to get help and is unfortunately making it harder for himself mentally, medically, financially and to his family (sigh).

My dad and I worked with Heather. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. We could not have completed this process without her! Thank you Heather!

Lousy experience. VSO would rather be somewhere else. Fumbling paperwork.

These people ARE NOT EMPLOYED by the Veterans Administration! They are employees of CLACKAMAS COUNTY!! Thus, they know absolutely NOTHING about the VA or how to deal with VA Difficulties. If it's more than a form that you need... forget it. You will get no absolutely no intelligent answers from this office. You might as well as your dog or cat because you'll get a better answer AND a smile. THESE PEOPLE EVEN GIVE CLACKAMAS COUNTY A BAD NAME!!!!!

I work with Janice who is efficient, knowledgeable, kind and super fast. She made sense of the entire Aid and Attendance process, helped with all of the paperwork, and has guided us every step of the way. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received!
