This DHS is for seniors and those with disabilities. The folks working in this office are very pleasant and mostly professional. If you aren't a senior or a person who has a disability then this would have been a great place to go for service. I however, am disabled. I suffer from telephonobia and agoraphobia. I have nine pills per month which I can take to make telephone calls with. I called them attempting to locate a caregiver (among other things) who would take over the work of talking with my doctors and other professional institutions via telephone so that I could stop taking the medication which has serious side effects for me.I used three of them to call this office repeatedly over the course of 3 days.In the first call I explained the problems I was grappling with and asked if I could make an appointment but the receptionist told me the person who could address my concerns (Angela and later Natasha) was in office and promptly sent me to their voice-mail. I left multiple messages each day without receiving call backs.nnOn the fourth day I had a friend take time off work to drive me to their office. The receptionist went to speak with Natasha about my concerns and to see if she had time to speak with me. The receptionist then returned and handed me a 211 card instructing me that I could call them via the telephone to find out if I could have someone help me with my problem of having to interact with everyone by telephone along with the other concerns I had come in for:/nnI can understand needing to refer me to someone else. It's more about the lack of consideration toward people with disabilities when it is their job to understand such things. As a professional the receptionist could have saved me two days worth of medication and my friends time off work (people can't afford to lose precious work hours on a wild goose chase) by simply referring me to 211 my first phone call. I also feel the lack of a return phone call to a client who has left multiple messages is also unprofessional on their part.

Great people! They have always been very helpful here! Parking is terrible though.
