As a private pilot who was looking to build cross country hours for my instrument rating, it was awesome to have the opportunity to rent at Tailwinds Flight School. Their Cessna 150 is a well maintained cheap airplane for time building. The flight school has great instructors and management. I had the pleasure of completing my checkout with Colin who is a great instructor. Colin also connected me with a safety pilot which shows his commitment to going above and beyond. Howard and Bonnie are extremely nice and care about the flight school and its students. After every flight, both of them reached out to ask how the flight was. I passed my instrument checkride last Saturday and I am thankful for all the help and support that Tailwinds provided me!

This is the third school at which I have been an instructor and the one that has the nicest planes and I believe the best route to getting a pilot's license at a reasonable cost.
Owner extremely honest and knowledgeable. Office staff fantastic as well. Flight simulator very impressive! Would highly recommend if you want a personalized instruction experience. Truly a one-stop-shop for all of your flight school related needs.
Has to be hands-down one of the most competent flight schools I’ve ever had the opportunity to deal with. From the owner to the instructors everybody is 100% on board and truly concerned about your safety and your education instead of just making a buck
