I grew up at the Holmesburg Library during my youth in NE Philly, and I visit it as often as I can when I return to see family members and friends still in the area. The library remains caring and active and staffed with competent people who, like their predecessors, reach out to the community and its members. Stay friendly and professional. You're really special.

Been going here since my kids were little. Love the quaintness and home feeling of this library. All the staff are great and very helpful anytime you need it.

Great staff and quiet location. Great place to get work done, there's free computers to use, tons of books, and some DVDs to rent as well.

This is the LOUDEST library that I have ever tried to study at. Between the desk clerk and a man having the loudest conversation that i can hear details of while covering my ears trying to focus on what im reading to the man thats slamming the books that he is organizing, to the constant cell phones ringing!! I never have this issue at the Bucks County library! Unfortunate for me, its too far for me to travel to daily to study for my upcoming exam. Libraries are supposed to quiet.
