I have known Dr. Lin for about 20 years. He is very personable, practical and informative. I appreciate that every time I walk into his office, he and his staff feel like family. I would recommend Dr. Lin to any person who needs a GREAT dentist!

I saw Dr. Lin on Friday of last week. The experience was the absolute worst medical experience I have ever had. Here were the problems:nn1. They would not tell me the address over the phone when making the appointment. I had to wait for three days to get the paperwork in the mail to find out they were in Oregon City, when I complained the receptionist replied that I should have Googled them, thus making it my fault.nn2. The questionnaire sent was over 25 pages of the same 8-10 questions asked over and over again, I do not mind answering questions once but the same question 5 or 6 times? Then I was asked the same questions again during my visit.nn3. Dr. Ling informed me an hour into the appointment that the appointment would be a least 3 hours. I had not planned for this as it was not mentioned when I scheduled the appointment, and I had to cancel following appointments. Again I was told this was my fault and that I should have asked.nn4. I was informed by Dr. Ling that because of my sleep apnea I would die 6-7 years sooner than my counterparts and it would also cause me to have a car accident which would not be covered by insurance because through him they could prove that I had fallen asleep at the wheel.nn5. I was then giving a piece of paper to sign and told that I owed him over $1,600 if I wanted to continue the appointment. He then left the room.nn6. When the receptionist came back to collect my paperwork with the $1,600 bill, I told her I could not yet sign it because I had not spoken to my husband regarding such a large purchase. I was told that I should leave and once I sign the paperwork I could come back and that the next appointment would be 1.5 hours.nnI am not at all comfortable with the high pressure sale tactics taken by Dr. LinnnI can not express strongly enough how extremely unprofessional Dr. Lin and his staff were. He also stated that my chart showed that I had hepatitis and had had cataract and gal bladder surgery. When I told him this was not true, he told me I was mistaken and that I must have forgotten. When I followed up with my general practitioner, he confirmed that none of those items were in fact on my chart. I am truly disgusted with his lack of professionalism and complete and total buffoonery.
