Dropped my engagement ring off on 8/14/19. Was told it would take two weeks to tighten the center stone. Two MONTHS later, it was ready to be picked up. This was after calling multiple times (voicemail is always full) and going into the store at least 5 times in person to inquire about what was taking so long. I was told the first time that Mark couldn't find the key to get into his safe. After that I was told that the person he sent the ring to was on vacation. Then his son had car trouble and couldn't go pick it up from the city. Not once did Pratico Jewelers call me to update me- the only reason I got any information was because I physically went to the store.nOnce I went to pick up the ring- they told me their credit card machine was not working and asked if I had cash or a check. Both of which I of course did not have, but could have easily brought had they told me when they called to tell me the ring was ready. Went to a nearby Walgreens and got cash back so I could go back to the jeweler and pay for my ring.nThe work done on the ring is fine, but this was such a frustrating and unnecessary experience. Sorry to say I won't be bringing anymore jewelry here. I like to use local shops, but not when the service is so unsatisfactory.

Great place for any jewelry work. I had my wife's wedding ring restored/cleaned here and everything was handled professionally. Great price for the work done and excellent service. Highly recommend Mark Practico Jewelers.
