We have been patrons of The Artful Deposit for many years. We have purchased pieces at the gallery by local artists we were familiar with, but over time, CJ introduced us to work by many artists we had not known. CJ is very down-to-earth and not high-pressure. She has taken the time to learn what we like, she understands our space, but also doesn’t hesitate to suggest art that may expand our collection and our minds! The gallery is a lovely, ever-changing space where you can see art up-close and learn about the artists who create it. Definitely worth a visit!

I can confidently say that the The Artful Deposit is an absolute treasure since my family has patronized the gallery for over 30 years. We found her in Allentown where the gallery was originally housed in an old bank. I loved the building, especially the vault. It was a favorite place to go and although I always loved art it truly was an open door to learning about all kinds of information that I have carried with me over the years. Whether you are buying your first piece of art or adding to an existing collection, The Artful Deposit has something for you. CJ will take the time to get to know you and make suggestions that fit your aesthetic and budget. The gallery is a wonderful collective of local artists as well as regional artists.nnBuy what makes you happy. I look around my house (where I have spent a lot of time over the past 8 months) and smile a lot thanks to CJ and the artists she represents. My young daughter has been visiting the gallery since she was four years old as the third generation of art lovers in my the family.

This is a charming gallery, displaying art by talented, celebrated artists. CJ is knowledgeable about her artists and has a great selection of paintings. She is honest, reliable and working with her is a pleasure. Definitely worth a visit !!

The Artful Deposit is a wonderful place for anyone looking to beautify their home with original fine art. This gallery represents a variety of extremely talented artists and has such an array of styles that anyone would be sure to find artwork that fits their aesthetic. The owner, C.J., is very personable and always welcoming to visitors of the gallery. When my husband and I first discovered The Artful Deposit three years ago, we were novices to the world of fine art and C.J. instantly made us feel comfortable. She is patient, informative, and helpful no matter your level of experience in the art world. The pieces we have purchased from The Artful Deposit are something we truly appreciate and admire on a daily basis in our home. This is definitely a place to visit when in Bordentown City!

We have been going to the ArtfulnDeposit for 33 years. Every year, on our anniversary, we have bought art from our friend C.J. to fill our walls with beautiful art that we love. She is knowledgeable and always helps us fond a piece that both of us love. C.J. works within our budget, whether we have a lot or a little to spend that year. This year we looked at pieces via FaceTime because of the pandemic. It’s wonderful to gift each other with a piece of art on our anniversary and celebrate with our friend.
