Smelled what I thought was smoke in my basement. Could not see anything but could definitely smelled something, so I called 911. I had not gotten off the phone and the police and fire department were at my house. I was lucky it was not a fire but it was wires on a light melting. They knew exactly what it was just by the smell. Everyone was polite and said I did the right thing by calling, because now I felt embarrassed and yet relieved. The men and women of our Fire Department and Police Department are Great!! Thank you
