Albuquerque Strength Academy

Convenient and great gym to drop into. Lots of good bars and tons of plates. Great community of weightlifters too. I’d definitely drop in again if I come through Albuquerque!

Came home for the holidays unsure where/how/when I was going to be able to fit in my training-- then I found Albuquerque Strength Academy! Mundo, the owner, responded to my initial inquiry super quickly and was so accommodating! When I showed up and all the platforms were being used, people happily doubled up WITHOUT ME ASKING so I could have a space to train and then continued to cheer me on through a grueling training session. Not only that, but they have SUPER flexible hours, so you're able to train on your own schedule, which was a lifesaver during the holidays. Cannot recommend this place enough and will DEFINITELY return here to train the next time I am in Albuquerque! Do yourself a favor and don't settle for the back corner of a CrossFit gym. Come check this place out!
