My son and I were visiting Baker and decided to stop in at Charley's. Everything was so clean and the restaurant was bright and airy. Flowers outside, inviting us in. We went there several times on our trip and enjoyed the high quality ingredients and yummy local sauce on our sandwiches. The coffee was also really good. It is fun that the owner sells other goodies like chips, soup, salad, hot pickles, cookies, maple doughnuts and even gum. It was a nice place to stop and enjoy good food and good service. The employees were friendly and quick in making the food. A nice addition to Baker City. Highly recommend it.

Without question the best deli sandwich I have ever had and it’s not even close. Hand-slicing the meat to order with melted artesian cheese is a killer touch, truly a revelation, you can taste the difference.nnStaff was warm and welcoming, nothing short of one of the best kept secrets in Oregon.

My husband and I come here to have lunch every so often in Baker City, Oregon. The food is freshly made and delicious. More importantly appreciative of the customer service. We are always helped by same sweet blonde Hispanic girl. We are older folks and she is always very patient, kind, and informative. Thank you.

If I could give them half a star I would! The service was HORRIBLE! The girl that made our sandwiches was beyond rude! We just finished some mountain biking and were super hungry. The surrounding restaurants were closed so this was our only option before we got back on the road. I was very disappointed with the service. I will never ever go back here. While the food was good the service left a bad taste in our mouth. Do yourself a favor and chose somewhere else to eat.
