It is really sad that a place that could be so wonderful misses on the director of the entire center and the manager of the pottery studio. There are different rules depending on who you are. It is a very political environment and unfortunately the disregard for important feedback and student concerns fall on deaf ears. There is a lot of disrespect due to large egos and poor management. Don’t waste your time.

Great center for classes and summer camp! As someone who has both attended and worked for the organization, I've seen Perkins from both sides. As a young child I attended the Summer Arts camp, and as I got older I took pottery and comics classes in the youth art department. This center houses a culture of passion for the arts and helping the community as there is an active scholarship program to assist less financially fortunate families.

Hello! A few years ago I used to work with Carol Porter at her private studio at her home but had to stop because of my health reasons, but now that I'm better I hope to get her as my teacher at this location as well. I really hope that I do! But if not I would highly recommend that if you have her to not stop because she brought my voice to a place I didn't think it could go! Also don't forget to subscribe to my channel when you get a chance :) lots of new releases coming out soon!! #neverstopsinging

Great arts center with a wide variety of programs. Highly recommend trying a class.

As an artist, I enjoy entering my artwork into their juried shows and find the administrators kind, helpful, and supportive. I also teach as a contractor and recommend it to any teaching artist. Another bonus is the physical space: the Moorestown building is a converted 18th century house situated on a grassy plot with lots of old trees. The Collingswood building is right by the patco is an old industrial space. I think it's a gem for south Jersey.
