Visited this library for the first time. They called and let me know my hold on a book was ready. They were all standing outside in the heat with a cart and books in very nice brown paper bags. They were very nice. Thank you for all you have done to reopen in this crazy time.

I just love this library. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's a pleasure to visit.

This is a very small, but very friendly library. My family has been coming here for years and they are always super helpful. Highly recommended!!!

So I stopped in to find a quiet place to get some work done while waiting for an appointment a few miles down the road. Figured it'd be nice to spend a couple of hours at what appeared to be a quaint, small but comfortable library.nnNever. Again.nnAny expectation of quiet will likely lead to disappointment. Case in point: I'm writing this review while in the library and for the past half hour a woman with an infant has been here visiting another lady (possibly a staff member, I'm not quite sure). They were already here when I arrived so how long they'd been I cannot say.nnThe baby is fine: quiet, content and cute as could be. The women, however, apparently decided that the public library was a fine place to have a prolonged--and loud--conversation, complete with lots of cooing and baby-talk. Of the three only the baby was polite enough to conduct itself appropriately for a library.nnI can't help but wonder if this sort of thing is common practice since the woman behind the desk said NOTHING to either of them about quieting the hell down or perhaps finding a more appropriate place for their baby-centric escapade.nnEDIT: It's now been an hour or so since my initial post and we've all been joined by some woman and her not-so-tiny non-service dog. As I've quietly been trying to get some work done Fido has proceeded to wipe his wet nose on me numerous times, apparently trying to figure out what sort of cat I have at home.nnMeanwhile, his oblivious owner has been sitting at one of the library computers engaging in a phone call with some sort of tech support person and two minutes ago switched on her speaker-phone. She was nice enough to turn it off upon my request but c'mon, really? Phone calls in the library...on speaker-phone no less?!? And not a word from the librarian? WTF?!?nnTell me, what point was it no longer considered rude to be loud and distracting in a library? When did it become acceptable to no only take your pets with you but allow them to roam the place at will? And worst of all, at what point should one expect the *$%&^@! librarian to do something about it?nnMy first--and last--trip to the sorry excuse for a library and its rude clientele.nn5-14-19
