Very nice shop friendly staff talk about her art. It's good to know too because the pottery store I used to go to is gone now it's pillows and comforters.

My sister and I took my mom to Smithville for her birthday. As soon as we walked through the door of The Leaky Cup, we felt welcome. The store itself has a feeling of home - it's warm and inviting. We spoke with the owner about various pieces. She explained how different items were made, and who in her family had made them. She even had a pottery wheel right inside the store!nnThe Leaky Cup carries much more than beautiful pottery. We bought several pieces of wall art. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of work in each product. Anna, the owner, offered to gift wrap our purchases, and did a wonderful job. My mom, sister, and I left excited by our new, handmade artwork and the experience we had with The Leaky Cup. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately the Leaky cup closed its doors in January of 2018. I'm happy to report you can still purchase their beautiful pottery from their website.

Anna is really lovely and she has some great products for sale. I love the melted bottles, they are a great conversation piece.
