We didn't use rooms. Rather we used our RV. One day when I went in to take a shower there was a couple bugs in the shower I was in, but what's to be expected of a campground. As I did not get to meet the owners I cannot say much about them but my mom said that they were quite nice!nnIt has been hard to find a campground that has full hookups and a place where we can drain our potty tank before we left. The prices were fairly reasonable too. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip near the Dakotas or further.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful showers were new and very clean.
No RV club discounts are honored but the fee of $40 was reasonable for full hookups and a quiet park. There are a lot of permanent residents, some of whom do NOT keep a tidy RV site, thus I couldn't give it 5 stars. The park's owner was very pleasant. We were grateful for our restful night.
we stayed a couple of nights in early September 2019 after spending a few months in Canada. It was raining and a little muddy but we made out ok. Dropped the 5th wheel out and went into town for supplies then right back. This was a great place to take a break from travelling and we'll be back.
If you're looking for a safe, quiet place to park your camper then the extra price is worth every penny! Clean showers & bathrooms, play area for children, a very strictly enforced 5 MPH speed limit, and friendly people. Highly recommended!
